Configuration Manager

General Description:

Position will integrate with and provide support to software and hardware development teams by performing Configuration Management (CM) to bring consistency, reproducibility, and verifiability to the software/hardware build and release cycle. Configuration Managers will establish, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CM software (i.e.: ClearCase, ClearQuest, Subversion, DOORS, etc.) to coordinate and track software/hardware releases, versions, licenses, inventory and documents.

Position may gather, report, and verify metrics; conduct audits of assets; create Version Description Documents (VDDs); and deliver releases (DRs) to stakeholders. Position may develop, implement, and execute CM policies and best practices. Position may require familiarity with/training in Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Tasks may require familiarity with database systems and application servers (i.e.: Sybase, Oracle) to manage software change and deployment.

An A.A. or B.A./B.S. is preferred.
